Huijuan Wang is currently an Associate Professor in the Multimedia Computing Group at Delft University of Technology. She was born in Harbin, China. She graduated and received her M.Sc. degree (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering at the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, in 2005. She obtained her Ph.D. degree (cum laude) in 2009 at the same faculty. She has been a visiting scientist at Boston University (Department of Physics, hosted by Prof. H. Eugene Stanley) since August 2011 and at Stanford University (Department of Electrical Engineering, hosted by Prof. Stephen P. Boyd) for the period April-August 2015. She is the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of Dutch Network Science Society, Chair of Netherlands Platform of Complex Systems, Board Member of the Network Science Society, Editorial Board Member of Scientific Report by Nature and Chair of Board of Examiners Computer Science and Embedded Systems.
